Are we over stimulated?
Are videos to stimulating.
Are photos to stimulating.
Are things that require less effort actually good for us?
The harder something is to do, the simpler it is, the longer it takes. For the most part, in life things that are slow and take time are better for us.
Walking, Cooking, Taking care of our dwelling, A craft, spending time with people, our physical health.
The more modern our world is becoming the less we seem to be interacting with it. Less touch, less time, less being there present in the moment.
When I think about everything that people seem to have issues with, most of them are social, the rest are environmental. And these things are all course and effect from how we live, and how we treat each other and the world around us.
And if things are getting worse, then it must be a course and effect of our current environments we choose to live in. We created this for ourselves intentional and unintentionally.
We are seeing this happen right now with people attention spans, and also emotional intelligence. It is dwindling.
People are blaming phones, and screen time, the physical objects. But I would argue that its the software that is the problem, not the hardware, its what we are looking at, it is what we are consuming, and in that act choosing to ignore around us.
Are videos to stimulating.

The answer is no. What is to stimulating is how easy it is to move on from one piece of content to another, who easy it is to get a dopamine hit, how easy it is to loss 2 hours of your life, and not even remember what you where doing.
That is the problem, but its only a problem it you want to do something with your life, you finite time here.
Choosing how you are spend your time is making a decision on what your life will be, is it filled with experiences, or its is filled with watching other people having experience.
