Your perspective is hindering your problem solving skills

We can only interpret our problems from our own perspective.

Give a person a hammer, and then everything starts to look like a nail. Go to a doctor, and they will prescribe you medicine; go to a surgeon, and they will set a date for surgery; go to a spiritual leader, and they will pray. You get the idea.

We only know what we know, and trying to figure out a solution to a problem outside ourselves takes a great deal of effort, time, and dedication. Why not try to solve the problem with the knowledge and tools you have available to you right now? That is how the majority of us work and solve our problems.

Have a problem? Then, we go to a specialist, and we get the same echo chamber, but this time from their point of view. This is why getting a second opinion is always recommended.

One person's perspective isn't everything.
Even your own.
